Join ride leader, Bill Tull (and June), for this 4-1/2-hour scenic river tour. Some of you may recognize this ride from last year as it will be Bill's SRS ride, but in the opposite direction. They say everything looks completely different when you travel the same road in two different directions!
First rest stop will be 33 miles into the ride at the Marietta Sheetz. From there, we'll travel route 441 south onto River Road and end up on PA 72 for a second stop at Rutter's in Collinsville around the 80-mile mark of this trip. Next stop: York Furnace Boat Ramp for a bite to eat. Pack your lunch or grab something at one of the morning stops. The boat ramp is simply that, along with a couple of rocks and a dock area, so seating may be a little inconvenient, but scenery is nice. After lunch, we'll continue on PA 425, riding through Long Level and then head to our final stop of the ride at Rutter's outside of Wrightsville, at approximately 105 miles. We'll head back to the dealership via I-83.
Please plan to arrive at the dealership, warehouse side of the building, no later than 9:45 a.m. with a full tank of gas. We'll hold a brief ride meeting with KSU at 10.
Hope you can join us!
Join ride leader, John Rietheimer, for dinner at one of Mechanicsburg's most popular pizza places. In addition to pizza varieties including Neapolitan, White, Margherita, Meat Lovers and Hawaiian Pie, you might want to try their famous Grandma pan pizza.
