Employee Bios

Congrats to the Employee of the Month: Katie Trump

Dealer

Bill - AKA "Fat Willie" - Hi everyone, I experienced my mid-life crisis in 1990 when I bought my first Harley-Davidson® bike. I became an enthusiast hook, line and sinker, so much so that I bought Harrisburg Harley-Davidson in July of 1995 to semi-retire. Boy did I get a surprise. I still look forward to riding with customers and alone. The time I spend on my ride is definitely the best time in the world. I do enjoy short day rides but my real love is long distance rides when I can enjoy this wonderful country that we live in. Hope to see you either in the dealership or on the road.

Administration

Amy - I joined my extended family here at SVH-D in July 2003. We have a great bunch of professionals working here. Each day I bring a truly positive attitude to this thriving business and customer service is our secret. My talents/skills include over 25 years in business management, with an associate degree in Business Administration from H.A.C.C. and extensive experience with computers and a love for number crunching. My immediate family includes my husband, Rich and two adorable children, Amanda (9) and Jacob (5) along with 3 cats and a dog. My younger brother and I started riding trail bikes when we were in grade school. And as we got bigger, so did our bikes. There isn't anything like the feeling of riding! Come in and see for yourself!

Jo - A new addition to the SVH-D team, I am honored to be here. My job is to make sure you enjoy all our events and people everywhere know what SVH-D has to offer. I also manager the MVP program, which SVH-D is the only dealership in PA to be selected to particpate. MVP members are very special to SVH-D and it is my job to make sure SVH-D is very special to MVP members. Please don't hesitate to stop by and say Hello!

Faith - Hi! My name is Faith. I grew up riding horses skiing and playing sports! I'm your basic un-complicated country girl that is highly competitive! But this country girl also enjoys the big cities and traveling the world! You can say that I am a complex person and I am as different as my music taste! I recently became a mommy and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful son and fiancé. These two men are my life. My life has changed since I became a mom; I used to work for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, but I now work for Susquehanna Valley Harley-Davidson in Harrisburg. At Susquehanna Valley Harley-Davidson I work in promotions/marketing. I am so thankful I have such a great job and work with wonderful people! So stop by and know that you are always welcomed at our wonderful dealership!
Staci - Hi, my name is Staci. I work part-time in the office answering phones, filing and many other office tasks or you can find me helping out with events. I work full time at Keystone Potato Products in Hegins as an Administrative Assistant. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family & friends, scrap booking, shopping and going to Nascar races. I look forward to meeting you, so stop by the office or an event to say hi!

Rose - Hi, I’m Rose. I am one of the evening part-time receptionists and sometimes you will find me helping out with promotional events. I had the pleasure of joining the family SVH-D in June 2007. Since then I have learned and gained a lot of respect for these 2 wheeled machines and the riders. I love riding these 2 wheeled roaring machines, not as a driver but as a passenger. Soaking up the sun and enjoying the sights. My family outside of SVH-D consist 2 great girls one is 19 and the other is 15, a cat named Mo and a dog named Shade. So if you are ever in the area of SVH-D, please stop by check out our bikes, merchandise, parts, and the service departments and don’t forget our family at SVH-D, oh I’m hiding in the Administrative area so peek in and say hi!

Jeni - What started out as one of my favorite shopping holes turned into an extended family at SVH-D. I was in and out of here so much they decided to put me to work as one of their promotions staff. I not only purchase my Harley-Davidson clothing here, I also purchased my 2003, 100th Anniversary Special Edition 1200 Sportster. Never ridden a motorcycle before; teeth clattering, shaky hands, blood pressure high, armed with a strong determination and a pink helmet, I did it, took the big step in September of ’08 and now another happy graduate from Motor Cycle Safety Class. I have a zest for adventure and enjoy life. I meet people easily and conversation comes naturally. Stop in and say HI the next time you’re at SVH-D; the folks here are a welcoming bunch, never without a smile, and always around for questions, or just conversation.

<
Katie Hi, Thanks for taking the time to read about me. My name is Katie and I am the Merchandise Manager here at SVHD. I joined the team here in July after taking a small break from the business. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and dogs, going to concerts, art and working on my house. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Parts and Accessories Department

Jim - I have been with the SVH-D team since starting part-time in February '97. By spring, I was full-time leaving a career in construction and cold winter work, never looking back. I became parts manager in 2000, a very challenging and rewarding position. I've been riding since I was fifteen and have been on Harley® bikes since I bought my '74 XLCH Sportster in 1988, which I still have and restored/customized. I also have the first new Harley I purchased, a '99 Fatboy with 50,000 miles on it. I recently purchased an '03 Anniversary Police dresser that I can't wait to take some road trips on and a '91 Sportster just waiting for paint and chrome! Once I find the "right" frame I have all the parts to start my thoughts on a custom chopper. Stop by the parts department and get everything for your cool rides!
Buck - "I bought my first brand new Harley, a 1985 FXST Softail, in June of '85. My only ride until July of '07 when I added wreck '05 FLHTC to go along with my softail, which it is on the road. I started working here at SVHD in April of '99, after 30 years as a warehouse supervisor for the federal government. I work in parts where I get parts for the service tech. I've been married to my lovely wife, Mona since February 11, 1992. We both belong to A.B.A.T.E. of PA, Mona is a 25 year member and I am a 23 year member. We both believe in individuals freedom of choice and states rights. Vietnam Era Vet and not all POW. MIA's are home yet!"
< Mike - Hello, I started at SVH-D in May 2006. I enjoy motorcycles and all there is to do with them. My first bike was a Honda Dream. I bought it when I was 15. I have owned a variety of bikes, currently I have a 1978 Shovel and a 1978 KZ750, that is a custom chopper that I am working on in the garage. I enjoy my job here in the parts department and I am willing to go the extra mile to get you what you need.

Jack - Hello! I’m here part-time, as I have retired from my profession that I truly enjoyed. I have a great wife, her name is Nancy, a full house and a couple of old bikes that use up what little spare time I have. If you need parts or products to maintain service or personalize your scoot come in and ask me… after we meet no one can say you don’t know Jack.
