Employee Bios

Congrats to the Employee of the Month:

Emily Smith

Dealer

Bill - AKA "Fat Willie" - Hi everyone, I experienced my mid-life crisis in 1990 when I bought my first Harley-Davidson® bike. I became an enthusiast hook, line and sinker, so much so that I bought Harrisburg Harley-Davidson in July of 1995 to semi-retire. Boy did I get a surprise. I still look forward to riding with customers and alone. The time I spend on my ride is definitely the best time in the world. I do enjoy short day rides but my real love is long distance rides when I can enjoy this wonderful country that we live in. Hope to see you either in the dealership or on the road.

David - Hi. Thanks for taking the time to get to know the members of our team here at Susquehanna Valley Harley-Davidson. I’m Dave Tull….that’s right Fat Willie’s my Dad. I’ve been active with the dealership since the fall of 2006 and in my role as Director of Operations since the summer of 2008. I’ve been married to my wife Paula for 17 years, and we have two great boys Nick and Dylan. My goal is to make sure that our team provides the very best experience Harley-Davidson has to offer. So if you’ve never been to the dealership, please join us at our next event or just drop by and say hi…..and if you are already a member of the SVH-D family, thank you and see you soon.

Motorcycle Sales

Dallas - Hi I’m Dallas. I’ve been reading about and riding Harley’s since before graduating high school.  I’ve built 2 Panhead Choppers and rode everything from Rigid’s to Dressers. My current scoots are a customized '99 Heritage Springer, and a '07 Street Bob that my lovely wife Jenn rides. Before working at SVH-D, I was a certified welder and hvac tech.  Harleys are my passion and I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with something I love.  When not working or riding, I enjoy time with the family, Jenn and I have 2 children Ashley, and Andrew, watching football,  "Go Cowboys", and going to Daytona Bike Week. Thanks for checking out my bio and stop in for a visit, I  would love to talk all things Harley -Davidson’s with you.

Billy - Hi, I’m Billy, senior sales professional here at SVH-D. I have been a proud member of the SVH-D family since 2007. When I’m not working hard for you here at the dealership, I spend most of my time with my gorgeous wife Missy, and my three amazing children, Derrek, Alicia, and Katrina. I look forward to meeting all of you, so please stop by and say hello!  It doesn’t matter if you are looking for your first Harley, or your latest one, I’m here to provide you with the "Ultimate Harley-Davidson Experience". See ya out there, ride often, ride safe!

Dawn - Hi, I'm Dawn.  I joined the family at SVH-D in March of 2008 as the receptionist but as of this past August I moved into the Business Office! I love my new position in which I get to help people make their dreams  of owning a Harley-Davidson become a reality. I don't have a bike of my own (yet) but I hope to get my permit soon and join in on all the fun! I am married to my best friend John, of over 21 years and we have three amazing children John Jr, Andrew and Elizabeth. So the next time you're in the market for a Harley or just want to brag about your own, stop in and see me! Ride Safe!

Nate - Hey Everybody, I just joined the SVH-D team in April of 2010. I've been riding motorcycles since I was five and riding Harley's since I was 16. Harley's brought my pop "Chub" very close in the past couple of years. I'm sorry to say he passed on but now I enjoy riding with my beautiful fiancé Cristie. Cristie just got her motorcycle license last year and I'm excited that we have yet another passion to share. In my free time I love riding my 06' Street Glide and my 08' Softail Custom. I also enjoy fishing, hunting, playing with our dog Cheyenne, and of course wrenching on my bikes. Stop in and see me. I can't wait to here about your riding experiences.
Jeff - Hi! My name is Jeff and I have been working part time for SVH-D since 2009. I help you find the bike of your dreams. As a long time rider, I know how important it is to find a bike you feel comfortable on and looks great… if you have questions or just want to talk about what you would like your next ride to be… Stop by and say Hi! Our sales department will do our best to get you on the bike of your dreams!

Emily - I started at SVH-D in May of 2008. I was pregnant then, so you may remember seeing me waddling around the dealership! I’ve since had my beautiful baby boy and I am back and ready for all you Harley enthusiasts to stop in and say hi. So get ready to pick out your dream hog, cause I’m ready to help you buy it!

General Merchandise

<
Katie Hi, Thanks for taking the time to read about me. My name is Katie and I am the Merchandise Manager here at SVHD. I joined the team here in July after taking a small break from the business. I realized how much I loved Harley-Davidson and the people that share that same connection. When I am not at work I enjoy cooking, music, hunting, the outdoors, and spending time with my friends and family. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be doing what I love again here at the dealership. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and encourage to stop in say Hello! It is my goal to exceed your needs and being part of the reason you love Susquehanna Valley H-D! Ride On!
Sara - Hi ya! My name is Sara. I graduated from Shippensburg University in May 2009 with a BA in Accounting and a minor in coaching. I started here at SVH-D in August 2009, not really knowing anything about motorcycles, but I learn more and more everyday! I might even get a Harley of my own someday. I live in Perry County with my boyfriend of 8 years Dylan, our Boston Terrier Bella and our 2 cats Mrs. Kitty and Selene. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading and watching Rachel Ray cooking shows. Feel free to stop in and say Hi! I look forward to helping you with any of your MotorClothes needs!
Kendra - Hi, I’m Kendra. I’ve been working part-time at SVH-D since July 2008. I am graduating this June and can’t wait to spend the summer around all those awesome bikes and the people who ride them! Ride Safe and don’t be afraid to stop by!
Sam - Hi, I’m Sam. I’ve been working around the shop since I was 16. I am currently in cosmetology school and loving it, but I just couldn’t get away from the great customers at SVH-D, so you can still find me working an event or cleaning up around the General Merchandise Department… if there is anything I can help you with when you’re here next time, please don’t hesitate to ask! See you then!

Parts and Accessories Department

Jim - I have been with the SVH-D team since starting part-time in February '97. By spring, I was full-time leaving a career in construction and cold winter work, never looking back. I became parts manager in 2000, a very challenging and rewarding position. I've been riding since I was fifteen and have been on Harley® bikes since I bought my '74 XLCH Sportster in 1988, which I still have and restored/customized. I also have the first new Harley I purchased, a '99 Fatboy with 50,000 miles on it. I recently purchased an '03 Anniversary Police dresser that I can't wait to take some road trips on and a '91 Sportster just waiting for paint and chrome! Once I find the "right" frame I have all the parts to start my thoughts on a custom chopper. Stop by the parts department and get everything for your cool rides!
Buck - I bought my first Harley, a 1985 FXST Softail in June of ’85 and added a ’05 FLHTC in July of ’07. I started working in the parts department at SVH-D in April of 1999. Mona and I have been married since February 11, 1992. We both are lifetime members of ABATE of PA and we both believe in individuals freedom of choice and states rights. Vietnam Era Vet and not all POW and MIA’s are home yet!
< Mikey - I started with SVH-D in 2006. I have been riding since I was a teenager. I enjoy riding and working on my ‘78 shovelhead. I also enjoy helping you out with all your parts need, so stop in and see me.

Jack - Hello! I’m here part-time, as I have retired from my profession that I truly enjoyed. I have a great wife, her name is Nancy, a full house and a couple of old bikes that use up what little spare time I have. If you need parts or products to maintain service or personalize your scoot come in and ask me… after we meet no one can say you don’t know Jack.

Bill - Hi! My name is Bill and my employment with Harley-Davidson began in 2004. In May of 2007, I started with SVH-D. I encourage everyone to come in with your questions, stories and observations. Always expect the unexpected.

Service Department

David - I have been around bikes all my life, from riding them to working on them. Motorcycles have always been a passion and hobby for me and now it is my career. I am very excited to take on the challenge of the service manager position here at the shop. I enjoy helping fellow riders stay on the road. When I am not at work, I enjoy long rides on my bike with my wife or two kids. Please stop in with any service questions you have, I would be happy to help you with all your service needs.
Karl - Hi my name is Karl and I have been in the H-D industry for over 20 years. I started my H-D career at Biff’s Harley-Davidson. Over the years, I have worked in parts, sales and service. I support ABATE and I ride a 2006 Springer. I am married and have a 18 year old daughter, who both love to ride. Stop by the service department and say Hi!
Ken - Ken graduated from Cumberland/Perry County VoTech Small Engine Shop in 1978. He worked at Sholly's Cycle Shop during his senior year in high school and continued working there after graduation. Ken went to work for Biff's Harley-Davidson in 1986. Ken joined the SVH-D team in March of 1996. He is our lead technician, PH-D certified by Harley-Davidson Motor Company and is acknowledged by Harley-Davidson Motor Company as a Master Technician. Ken is currently riding a restored 1986 FXWG, an ex-rat bike.
Dale - I have been riding on the street since 1996. I started at SVH-D in the spring of 1998 washing bikes. Later that summer, I attended York Technical Institute’s Harley-Davidson SWAT program. I have since been to numerous H-D classes and I am now a Master Technician. I am the proud pappa of two boys, Nick and Lil' Dale.
Chris K. - Hello, I'm Chris Kirouac. I started in the Service Department of SVH-D in May 2002. My wife Becky and I have two daughters, Sadirah & Sophia. I have been riding for most of my life; right now I'm riding a 1990 Sportster®. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, and occasionally hunt and fish.
Kevin - Hi, I’m Kevin. After a 28 year career as a Industrial Maintenance Technician, I decided that it was time for a change. I attended and graduated from York Technical Institute in motorcycle technologies. I came to SVH-D to complete my externship requirement for school in October 2002. Dale worked me through this process and did a great job. I really enjoy coming here to work with a great group of dedicated people. Hope to see you here or on the road.
Mark - Hello you all! I am Mark and I have been working for the dealership for a couple years now. I am the one who keeps your bike nice and clean for ya. I also do pick-up and delivery of your motorcycle when needed. I live with my Ol' Lady. I also have a daughter living in Texas. Keep things bright and shiny!
Joe - After graduating from YTI in 2004, I've worked in an after market shop until accepting the technician position at SVH-D in May of 2006. I've been around motorcycles all of my life. I now ride a 2006 Super Glide® (Nikky), 1990 XL (Dolly) and a 1976 Shovel (Sally). When I'm not at work, I can be found working on my own bikes or out on the road riding.
Brad - I graduated from YTI in 2007 in motorcycle mechanics. I have been working at SVH-D since May of 2007 as a technician. I currently ride a Yamaha sport bike and enjoy playing hockey in my free time.
Carl - I graduated from YTI Career Institute in May of 2009 and immediately joined the SVH-D family. When I am not in the shop or on my 2006 V-Star, I am either spending time with my wife Brandy or my son Garrett or training in the PA National Guard… my other job!
